Inglês - Superlative

•  Short adjective : EST ( Fast - Fastest) 

O maior rápido

• Short adjective ending in consonant + vowel + consonant : 2x last consonant ( Big - Biggest ) 

O maior 

• Adjectives ending in Y and before it there is a consonant : est ( easy  - easiest )

O mais fácil 

• Long adjective : most ( expensive - most expensive) 

O mais caro

• Irregular adjectives :

Good - Best  - O melhor 

Bad - Worst  - O pior 

* O superlativo nos dá a ideia de superioridade. 

Examples:

• This city is the worst city in Brazil. 
• My car is the fastest. 
• SP is the biggest city in Brazil. 
• English is the easiest subject. 
• Your pants were the most expensive in this store.
